Cedar County Historical Society & Museum

Cedar County Historical Society and Museum wish to thank all of the businesses that have joined as sustaining members to help support our mission and our facilities.  Without the support of all our members, both individuals and sustaining, we would not be able to do what we do. The support helps us to acquire and preserve artifacts and documents that tell the story of Cedar County.  We are able to then share these stories of history through events and programs to public. All of patrons are able to visit our museum, prairie village, Geller Preserve and Bickett-Rate as often as they would like at no charge. Programs provided by and hosted by CCHS as well as tours and our popular Day on the Prairie in September are available to anyone who wishes to attend.  We have been able to complete preservation projects, such as the recently added canopy to our sawmill, painting of the Bedbug School, and the chinking and log treatment needed at the Frasuer cabin. To help thank our sustaining members we will list them here, providing links to their sites when possible, and encourage folks to look at our local businesses first to purchase your goods and services.
